Oral history, more than an accumulation of narratives, is a field of methodical dialogue between memory, power, ethics, and representation. In the meantime, one of the challenges for researchers in this field is to move from “interview report” to “theoretical structure,” a question to which each expert, based on their own experience and intellectual framework, give a different answer.

Preparing a report for Khorasan Radio and Television

One of our activities in the political ideology unit of the 77th Division of Khorasan was preparing reports and audio and video interviews for broadcast on television. We would go to different units of the division and interview the fighters. However, because the video camera in those years required direct electricity, we could not take it among the fighters on the front lines.

Memories of Davoud Molaei

Davoud Molaei, a fighter during the years of the Holy Defense, was a guest on the 289th Shab-e Khatereh (Night of Memoris) program (March 2018).
