355th Night of Memory – 1

The 355th show of Night of Memory titled “Songs and Hymns of the Time of Captivity" was held on 3rd of Esfand 1402 (February 22, 2024) attended by the freed POWs and combatants of the holy defense in Sooreh Hall of the Art Center of Islamic Revolution. The “Album of Songs of Hope” was also unveiled during the show. In this show, Nasser Qarehbaqi, Amir Hossein Tarvand and Abbas Ebrahimi retold their memoirs. It was hosted by Davood Salehi.

From Defining the Plan to Estimating the Costs of Oral History Project

According to Iranian Oral History Website, the third online session of “Oral History School” was held by Iranian History Association on Monday evening, July 8, 2024. In this session, Dr. Mehdi Abolhasani Taraghi gave a lecture focused on “Finding a Topic and Defining the Plan in Oral History”.

Magazines Full of Takbir

The book "Magazines Full of Takbir" , the memoirs of Colonel Qoodrat Akhrian in 2022, with the number of 500 copies and 590 pages, has been published by the Foundation for the Preservation of Works and Publication of Sacred Defense Values of West Azarbaijan Province. The interview and editing of this book was done by Jila Moradi, and on its cover, there is a picture of the narrator in Majnoon Island (1984) wearing a chemical mask.

Conditional Meeting with Army Commanders

The army chiefs, who were intimidated after the Imam ordered the soldiers, rank and file officers to flee, insisted on negotiating with those who are related to the Imam. General Qarabaghi and several other commanders who were the directors of the army (through the same faction that was mentioned) said that we want to negotiate. It was brought up in the council. It seemed that this meeting could be useful but to "terms and conditions"
