The 292nd Session of Memory Night

Memory-telling about Dr. Chamran and Dastmal-Sorkhha

According to Iranian Oral History Website, the 292nd session of Sacred Defense memory night was held in Sooreh Hall of Hozeh Honari on Thursday, June 28, 2018. In the session, Abdullah Nooripour, Maryam Kazemzadeh and Mehdi Zomorrodian expressed their memories of Iraqi imposed war against Islamic Republic of Iran.

Using oral history method in “Who Wore My Clothes?”

The book “Who Wore My Clothes?” includes the memoirs of the freed POW Mohsen Fallah. The interviews, compilations and writings have been conducted by Mahboubeh Shamshirgarha. It has been released in 2017 in 573 pages by Sooreh Mehr Publication on the order of the office of Resistance Culture and Studies of the General Department of the Affairs of Provinces and Majlis (parliament) of the Art Center.

Imperative flaunt of documentation in oral history

Reported by Iran Oral History Site, “How effective documentation has been to pave the way in oral history?” is a subject addressed by Rahim Nikbakht, researcher and historiographer. He said: In study and research of the novel contemporary history we are exposed to two sets of resources besides library references including archived and oral history documents. The oral documents may include interviews, speeches or radio and television programs.
