Oral History Interview & Importance Selecting a Subject Selecting a subject is one of the key steps in oral history interviews. Oral history interviews are either subject or individual based. Naturally, to selecting a subject requires great precision. As it was said before, oral history interviewer shall not only have the spirit of inquiry and research but also have general and technical information on the subject and avoid any bios towards the individual and social and political events in question.
Two new books released Oral history of combatants and freed POWs of northern Iran continues to be compiledThe Cultural and Resistance Studies Department of the art centers in Gilan and Mazandaran provinces has released two new books. The books have been published by Sooreh Mehr Publication. The books are entitled: "The Oral history of the Sacred Defense Combatants 5: The Second Narration of Cerise Booklet; Memoirs of Mahmoud Ranjbar", and "Oral History of the Freed POWs of Gilan – The Town of Talesh 2: Paper Haft-Seen: Oral Memoirs of Sirous Bolourian".
Oral History Weekly Magazine Aims and Regulations
Oral History Weekly Magazine wishes to create a suitable place for thoughts and idea development; Its main field would be “Oral History” and subjects as telling & writing memoirs, writing diaries, travelogues, chronologies, and all other subfields of history which are presented in the form of news, articles, reports, notes, interviews and memoirs can be included. There is no limitation on the length of would-be-sent materials.
Mentioning the name, academic background and email is necessary. Articles with complete references and bibliography are more credited and an abstract would quite helpful.
Weekly is not about to publish any material consisting insults and libels about other people or anything that brings anxiety to public opinion. Weekly can edit and translate the received materials.
