The 11th meeting of Iranian oral history to be held in February 2017Compilation in Oral HistoryThe 11th Meeting of Iranian Oral History entitled “The National Conference of Compilation in Oral History” will be held in February 2017, the website of Iranian oral history said. “This is the second conference of oral history compilation. Our expectations were not met in the seventh meeting held under the title of compilation. Thus, we deal with the issue in the 11th meeting”, the Executive Secretary of the conference, Gholam Reza Azizi said.
He Is Known By "A Seal of Markook" The Story of a Young Kermanshahi Commander The book name comes from one of book parts: "A Seal of Markook" . It is noted in a memory that once subject of the book to learn praying used Markook, a kind of local bread, as a seal. He is martyr Ebrahim Rostami (March 21, 1963-April 22, 1986), Support and Engineering commander of the war in Jihad of Construction of Kermanshah province; the book is his story. The book is in four chapters: chapter I: Ebrahim (authors memories); Chapter II: Ebrahim in memories (memories of relatives, neighbors, friends and comrades); Chapter III: Ebrahim in the mirror (individual characteristics of martyr Ebrahim Rostami in view of author); the final chapter: Ebrahim in documents and photos.
Publication of two books from the collection of oral history “Treasure”80 hours interview to compile “Revolution of Colors” and “Born in Bahman” “Treasure” is the name of a series of books published by Islamic Revolution Cultural Fronts Study Center in collaboration with Moaref Publication which focus on oral history of the Islamic Revolution Cultural Front. These series examine the impact of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defense on art and culture and the books are basically interviews with individuals active in these fields. These series which are categorized as oral history provide information on the first years of the revolution movement to date and also prominent and influential individuals and elites who have been active in these years. Two books of this series including “Revolution of Colors: oral history of Alireza Khaleghi” and “Born in Bahman: memoirs of Esfandiar Qarah Baghi” are presented below.

Oral History Weekly Magazine wishes to create a suitable place for thoughts and idea development; Its main field would be “Oral History” and subjects as telling & writing memoirs, writing diaries, travelogues, chronologies, and all other subfields of history which are presented in the form of news, articles, reports, notes, interviews and memoirs can be included. There is no limitation on the length of would-be-sent materials.
Mentioning the name, academic background and email is necessary. Articles with complete references and bibliography are more credited and an abstract would quite helpful.
Weekly is not about to publish any material consisting insults and libels about other people or anything that brings anxiety to public opinion. Weekly can edit and translate the received materials.
