A Review of the Book "The Helmsman"

The cover and back cover of the book is decorated with beautiful and memorable photos of the narrator during his time at the front, which, while being simple and sincere, conveys a shocking whole, the details of which are retold in the text of the memoirs. This is in contrast to the selected text on the back cover, where the narrator merely refers to one of his fathers healing skills and moral and human concerns.

334th Night of Memory – 2

The 334th show of the Night of Memory was held in Sooreh Hall of the Art Center on Thursday 1st of Ordibehesht 1401 (April 21, 2022) titled “Men of Enthusiasm Tribe”. It was attended by a number of freed POWs and the families of the martyrs and hosted by Hossein Behzadifar. In the ceremony released also online, misters Reza Abbasi, Amir Mahmoud Najafipour, and Colonel Ahmad Heidari, freed POWs from Tikrit Concentration Camp recounted their memoirs.

Authors Introduction

When I was around fourteen, I read the book Zanan-e Qahreman (“Women Heroes”). Apart from the lives of the women of early Islam, what interested me was the figure of Djamila Boupacha, though it was hard to accept that a young woman would, with all her being, enter into a one-sided struggle against the occupiers of her country.
