Events of Kurdistan and operations in Arvand River narrated by fighters of the two divisions

According to Iranian Oral history Site, two hundred and seventieth ceremony of series Night of Reminiscence was held at Sureh hall of Art Center on Thursday evening in 7 Mordad 1395 (28th July 2016). Mohammad Reza Jafari, one of fighters of Syed al-shohada’s Army 10 and Abdolreza Tarazi, one of the radio operators for Army 27 of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) attended in the ceremony, and expressed their memoires about the war of Iraqi imposed war against Iran and the sacred defense.

The Strange commander of Battalion 139

2nd Brigadier General Eskandar Beyranvand is one of Army commanders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In 1960, he entered Military school and then joined the army. In Operation Fath ol-Mobin (1982), he was commander of independent brigade 84 in Dasht-e Abbas and played major role in recapturing areas of Dasht-e Abbas, Ali Greh zad, Tine, Bridge of Chikhab River, highlands of Ein Khosh, barrack of Ein Khosh, heights of Kamar Sorkh and Tishe Kan. "Haj Qassem Guys" is a book covering the memoirs of Brigadier General Hossain Maroufi from childhood years to sacred defense period and captivity in the camps of Saddams army. Brigadier General Hossain Maroufi went to the war fronts voluntarily in his teens. He was the youngest commander of the Battalion of the Division 41 of Sarallah during the sacred defense period. The book has been compiled in six parts. First years, sacred defense years, captivity time, my captive husband Hossain Maroufi, images and indexes are parts of this book. It has been released in 2016 and republished for the third time.

Everything started with a recruitment ad in Editor Publisher: “Metropolitan Editor in Chief required by the most prominent newspaper of the state, 27 years of age, holder of relevant university degree, experienced in provision of news, reports, and articles, available to travel and willing to cooperate with a prominent publication to start mid-October.” This was the ad that resulted in his recruitment offer. A horrifying interview beyond definition: “It is very hard to describe the fear I had for this interview. I was going to meet the chief of staff of a newspaper that every reporter was dreaming to work for and they were willing to kill to get there.”
