Telling in the details and seasoning for Memoirs

War could not recognize young and old people. Everyone was involved; father and his young son, wife and children, urban and rural people, all were affected by the Iraqi imposed war against Iran. That is why young and old man, Basij and Revolutionary Guard Corps and military people could be seen among warriors. Each of these people, who have experienced the war, can narrate some parts of the war alone. They are the narrators of this great event and each of these narratives is part of the oral history for eight years of sacred defense in country.

An interview with a war photographer

Asqar Naqi Zadeh is the actor of theater, cinema and TV who started his activity from the Art Center (Hozeh-ye Honari). With the start of the Iraqi imposed war against Iran, he went to the war fronts as a war photographer in order to depict every moment of the war in the framework of photos. He is now around 54 years old and has talked about his memoirs of the sacred defense days in southern and western fronts with the website of Iranian Oral History.

Often, there are issues that people do not speak about them. As much as these issues become impersonally, it is less possible for you to express them. Mohsen Rezaee (PhD) carries the memories nearly four decades. In all the years various people have spoken with him to convince him to express these memories. Finally Rezaee in Raah (The Path) talks about his memoirs. This book which is the first volume of his memoirs is part of the oral history of these four decades.
