Salutations to all the warriors of Islam, followed by a loud blessing: "Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad wa ‘ajil farajahum" This was the sound of women gathering in our home to collect public donations for the war front. It was the autumn of 1980, and the war had just begun. Streams of aid from the people were flowing toward the battlefields.

The 360th Night of Memory

The 360th Night of Memory, titled "Memorial of Strange Martyrs in Captivity," was held in memory of 12 strange martyrs from Tehran Province on September 22nd of 2204, in the Soura Hall of the Islamic Revolution Art Center. In this program, Colonel Mojtaba Jafari, Mohammad Javad Zomordian, and Engineer Saeed Ohadi shared their memories. The performance of this Night of Remembrance was led by Davood Salehi.

The book “Beyond the Wall,” the memoirs of Habibollah Bitarf, one of the three original thinkers behind the capture of the US embassy, was published by Soure Mehr Publications with 232 pages.

Oral history education should not rely on individuals

Today, training is considered by the oral history experts as a key issue. According to Dr. “Ali Tattari”, oral history education needs to be processed in universities so that, by approving regulations and guidelines, the education of this science does not rely on individuals and does not suffer from a crisis with the slightest change in the country's political and economic climate.
