341st Session of Night of Memory-2

The Greathearted

The 341st Session of Night of Memory, titled “Daryadelan (The Greathearted)” and narrated by the honored warriors, veterans, and released prisoners of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy was held in Hozeh Honaris Sooreh Hall on Thursday, November 24, 2022. In this session, pilot, rear admiral Karamat Shafieifard and Mr. Farnoosh Seifollahifard shared their memories. Akbar Eini and Mohammad Ghasemipour hosted this night of memory. The second narrator of the program was Mr. Farnoosh Saifullahifard, born in 1949 in Astara, who spoke about his memories.

Kermanshah; Mersad operation

He Was a Traitor

The specialized forces that were sent to Kermanshah in the Mersad operation, were there either to complete the plan and carry out the mission or voluntarily. We were a paramedic team that was sent from Tehran to Kermanshah on a voluntary basis. When we arrived in Kermanshah, we settled in one of the hospitals. The general surgery team came voluntarily from Shiraz University and the brain surgery team came from Mashhad University.

Warning for avoiding superstitions

On the night of the same day that the Shah had escaped, a number of my friends came to me to make a decision about the rally that was going to be held the next day. Different people were present in the meeting and it was decided that no logos or signs of any group, party or organization would be shown in the rally. Of course, our main concern was the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization on whose behalf several students had also participated in the meeting.

Women of the South Front

The book Women of the South Front is the narration of Ahvaz womens support for the war, published by the Oral History department of the Cultural Front Studies Office of the Islamic Revolution (Rahyar Publications). The book was researched by Maryam Moradi Kouhbad and edited by Narges Eskandari. In the title page, of course, the names of two other researchers, Zahra Gharacheh and Zeinab Babaei also can be seen. The book was published in 2023 in 1000 copies, having 216 pages and a price of Seven Thousand Tomans.
