12th Volume of ‘‭Iran Political Diaries’ Appears in Persian

The Islamic Revolution Document Center has published the Persian rendition of the 12th volume of ‘‭Iran Political diaries’.

IBNA: Translated by Afshar Amiri, the collection entails correspondence between Iran and the British Empire from 1881 to 1965.

The original version of the work was released in 1997 in 14 volumes, and covers fresh revelations about how the British Empire dominated the leadership in Iran during the Pahlavi era the years before.

The letters convey details about the ouster of Reza Shah from Iran and his replacement by his son Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

Also the presence of the allied forces in Iran and what the UK did in Iran during the second world war are included in the work.

The 12th volume of the collection focuses on the correspondences from 1943 to 1945 which were parallel with the ouster of Reza Shah and the second World War.

The Persian rendition of the  12th volume of the collection has been published in two volume amassing to 1652 pages.
