The manager of gathering and translating the collection of "Iran-Iraq war in the world press" said that four more volumes will be prepared by March and added: "In order to print the collection we need the support of Sacred Defense research center."

IBNA: Javad Zaman-zadeh said:" The first phase which includes translating newspaper pieces and select foreign news about Iran-Iraq's war is gathered in 40-50 volumes of which 16 have been released.

As the collection was unveiled in September he added that currently four more volumes are being prepared which hold foreign war news which were published in 1984 in newspapers including Al-Sabah, Al-arab, Al-ehram and Frankfurter.

He went on to say that the first volumes, distributed with CDs, were warmly welcomed by researchers and scholars.

The collection is prepared out of the media documents and foreign journals kept at the Sacred Defense documents center which date back to the beginning days of the Iran-Iraq war.

Established in 2004, the Sacred Defense National documents center holds over 7,881 books titles, over a million written documents and some 300 academic theses.
