IBNA: The closing ceremony of the 12th martyr Habib Ghanipour book of the year festival was held on Monday with the attendance of the manager of Art Bureau’s literary creations center and the festival’s founder Amir Hussein Fardi, the event’s secretary Mohammad Naseri as well as a group of authors.

The ceremony kicked off with a clip of the life of martyr Habib Ghanipour as well as his activities in Jawad al-Aeme mosque. Then Amir Hussein Fardi thanked the festival’s jury and the participant writers. He said: “I believe the story of Jawad al-Aeme mosque will remain the origin of the festival and its form has only changed. We are the story’s main characters, but figures like Ghanipour have fulfilled their responsibilities and we still have to.”

We are today celebrating literature and books. Habib Ghanipour was a potential writer whose capabilities weren’t flourished yet. The festival is named after him and hope it will improve during the upcoming editions, he added.

We intend to select books which are precious in martyrs’ ideology and highlighting resistance literature is among its objects, the manager of Art Bureau’s literary creations center noted.

In other news, the event’s secretary Mohammad Naseri said: “Martyr Habib Ghanipour book of the year festival was established three decades ago by Amir Hussein Fardi.”
