Commander Hadi Moradpiri, head of the Sacred Defense Sciences Research Center, announced that the center will assist the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to remove deviations from Sacred Defense book.
IBNA: Addressing the opening ceremony of the 4th Resistance Literature Congress at Martyr Bahonar University in Kerman on Wednesday February 27, 2013, Moradpiri asserted that the transfer of Sacred Defense sciences and teachings to future generations is one of the heaviest duties to be fulfilled.
He also announced the cooperation of the center with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance for preventing deviation of Sacred Defense books.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Kerman University Chancellor Nasrollah Gerami reviewed the university’s establishment, and said that it already has over 256 programs for graduate and undergraduate students.
As he said, the resistance literature course for MA students was formed in 2009 in the university and its PhD program is underway in the university.
Later on, the congress’s scientific secretary, Ahmad Amiri Khorasani, delivered a speech in which he reported on the formation of the resistance literature group at the university of Martyr Bahonar.
“We are determined to return to ourselves in accordance to the Supreme Leader’s guidelines and revive our Islamic culture,” he added. “The younger generation may be unaware of the great works among our prose and poetic works. Through the congress, we have tried to give society the awareness.”
As many as 249 works were submitted to the secretary of the congress to be assessed by 34 judges from around the country. In the end, 70 articles were selected by the judges and 30 of them will be presented during the congress.
The other keynote speaker in the ceremony was Commander Hadi Moradpiri who spoke about the formation of a committee entitled as Sacred Defense teachings in various universities of the country. “Studies indicate that wars and revolutions are two sources of change in societies. In Iran, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Sacred Defense broke out which ended in favor of Iran as a result of popular resistance. War affects all academic fields of study from engineering to art. Besides, new majors develop after wars.”
He further underscored the weakness of defense releases in the years that followed the Sacred Defense, and added that publication of defense books began late but in an effective manner and in the ministry of Sciences, Research and Technology, various study programs were offered by the Sacred Defense geography and resistance literature.
The 4th Resistance Literature Congress is arranged by the Bahonar University and the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Values and Works, and will sum up on February 28, 2013.
