Islamic Revolution narrative for youngsters

A book has recently been published by Ghadr Velayat on the Islamic Revolution of Iran for children and young adults.

IBNA: Authored by Mir Azim Ghavam, the events attributing to the victory of Islamic Revolution are brought about in a simple language to be understandable for the youth.

Author of 18 works on the Islamic Revolution, Ghavam said, in an interview with IBNA, that the book specifically addresses the younger generation and tries to give them an insight into the events that led to the victory of the historic revolution of Iran in 1979.

The book assess the revolution in three time periods beginning with the background of the uprising, the factors leading to the victory and the Islamic Revolution achievements.

He stated that to complete the first two parts of the book he had to resort to various resources. However, the third part is an account on the economic, political and scientific developments of the country since the revolution. The part draw a contrastive analysis of the pre- and post-revolution eras in Iran based on numbers and statistics.

"The work is intended to give its young readers an overall understanding of the event," he added.
