His Majesty Black: The biography and memories of Saadi Afshar is written by Laleh Alem and published by Pouyandeh Publications.
IBNA: There was a god reception of Laleh Alem's last book, 'Meet the Faces' at the time of publication. Saadi Afshar was one of the figures introduced in this book; and then many readers have asked Alem to write a complete book on him.
Alem added: "The book contains the biography and memories of Saadi Afshar in his own words. I have tried to give a fictional structure to it based on the realities, and so all the names and characters mentioned in the book are real."
She continued: "Dr Ghotbeddin Sadeghi has written the foreword to the book and after the introduction there are also testimonials by Morteza Ahmadi and Reza Rezamandi to Saadi Afshar. Rezamandi is an old friend of Saadi and used to take care of him when he had broken his leg."
"The compilation of the book has taken almost a year and few months. That is, from the time I started conversing with Saadi Afshar until I wrote them down on paper and gave them fictional shape."
Alem added that Saadi Afshar is feeling well now.
'His Majesty Black: The biography and memories of Saadi Afshar' is written by Laleh Alem and published by Pouyandeh Publications in 136 pages. The foreword to the book is penned by Dr Ghotbeddin Sadeghi.
