Books of Rare SAVAK Documents at TIBF

On the occasion of the 24th Tehran International Book Fair, the "Center of assessing historical documents" has presented its rarest works including SAVAK documents.

IBNA: Some of these works include "Imam's partners according to SAVAK documents", "Islamic Revolution according to SAVAK documents" and "The dignitaries of Pahlavi era according to SAVAK documents" which were rare in the book market and the researchers could hardly find them.

The "Center of assessing historical documents" has presented the works at the book fair.

Currently the 45-vol. series of "Imam's partners according to SAVAK documents", the 25-vol. "Islamic Revolution according to SAVAK documents" and the 24 vol. collection of "The dignitaries of Pahlavi era according to SAVAK documents" are available at the pavilion of the "Center of assessing historical documents".

SAVAK was the secret police, domestic security and intelligence service established by Iran's Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. It operated from 1957 to 1979, when the Pahlavi dynasty was overthrown

The 24th Tehran International Book Fair is underway in Tehran and will warp up on May 14, 2011.
