For the first time, Marz-o-Boum Publications has prepared the display of 6 translated works on the Sacred Defense by foreign authors at the 24th Tehran International Book Fair. Iran-Iraq war narrated by Iraqi Presidents Guard Commander is one of the volumes.
IBNA: Marz-o-Boum is specialized in the publication of works about the Sacred Defense. The Longest War: The Iran-Iraq Military Conflict by Dilip Hiro and converted into Persian by Alireza Farshchi, Reza Faridzadeh and Saeid Kafi, is one the books which is to be displayed at the book fair.
Other volumes are as follows: Saddam’s war : an Iraqi military perspective on the Iran-Iraq War by Kevin M. Woods (Author), Williamson Murray (Author), Thomas Holaday (Author), Mounir Elkhamri (Author), National Defense University (U.S.) (Compiler) and translated into Persian by Davoud Elmaei Koupaei, Iranian perspectives on the Iran-Iraq war by Marziyeh Roshan Ali, and the Persian Gulf War: Lessons for Strategy, Law, and Diplomacy (Contributions in Military Studies) by Christopher C. Joyner (Editor) translated by Davoud Elmaei Koupaei.
The two volume The Lessons of Modern War by Anthony Cordesman and Abraham Wagner is one of the most prominent releases of the publications at the exhibition.
The 24th Tehran International Book Fair will run from May 4 to 14, 2011, in the citys Grand Prayer Grounds of Imam Khomeini.
