The Victorious Start and End

صفحه نخست شماره 12

IBNA: Ahad Goodarziani, writer, journalist: The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory prompts the reminiscence of landmark events happened in this land (Iran) and lived through by Iranians.

Memories, analyses and works of poetry and fiction presented by books have extended the greatness of the victory so no one forgets where we came from and are going to as time elapses the more from those days.

The victory of the Islamic Revolution was a start and an end in itself which is why its pre and post eras have emanated themes for many books written about it.

The pre-revolution era was replete with a common covet for defeating the royal arrogance (in the society) and among the demonstrators were figures (common people) who well remember their memorable role in the turn of their fates.

The real revolution story was recorded in alleys, streets and neighborhoods in whatever way possible by everyone as pictures, recordings, drawings and so on to remain it in the minds.

Just like the start of an ideal life where people wish to maintain the sweetness of its first days, after the victory, the same ideal was targeted after the revolution.

Poetry, fiction, memory and analytic volumes produced afterwards were ascribed in line with the same approach. Among readers are some who might imagine what if their move wouldn’t … no! They did win and are watching their victory days.

The spontaneous theme which has affected the Islamic Revolution books is the only feature they share. It is like a novel published in many volumes thanks to the large number of characters or events.

The destiny of Iran and Iranians reached a point in 1979 that was wished for so long and the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution decade is the reminiscence of that wish.

The love for destiny is both old and continuous. Libraries in other countries and languages are home to so many books on Iran''s revolution which remind them of the dignity of our nation.

All in all, the Islamic Revolution books, no matter how written, narrate those eventful and memorable days which will never be forgotten as the victorious start and end.
