California Assembly Committee passes Genocide Education Bill
 On Friday May 23, the California State Assembly Appropriations Committee unanimously passed AB 1915, requiring the inclusion of the Armenian Genocide in the list of studied subject areas for the adopted courses of study in Social Science for 7-12, reported the Armenian National Committee of America Western Region (ANCA WR).

Oral History Weekly Magazine wishes to create a suitable place for thoughts and idea development; Its main field would be “Oral History” and subjects as telling & writing memoirs, writing diaries, travelogues, chronologies, and all other subfields of history which are presented in the form of news, articles, reports, notes, interviews and memoirs can be included. There is no limitation on the length of would-be-sent materials.
Mentioning the name, academic background and email is necessary. Articles with complete references and bibliography are more credited and an abstract would quite helpful.

5000 oral history subjects in Isfahan following up
In part of his detailed report about the activities of the Art Bureau of Isfahan Province, the head of the bureau Mehdi Seyedin Nia said, "We work in the area of literature and resistance and on oral history in two topics of registering of the memoirs of the revolutionaries since 1332 (1953) solar hijri till the victory of Islamic revolution in 1979 and since 1357 (1979) till now in 5000 subjects and 3000 documents and 50 percent of the work have been moving forward."
